TYPE IN NEPALI

Type Nepali with the English keyboard you already have

Switch to Nepali mode in Karyaniti and type into the case search field. You do not need to install a Nepali keyboard layout on your device.

When you are searching for a Nepal Supreme Court case, the words you know may be in Nepali, while your keyboard is set to English. Changing your device settings just to enter a search term gets in the way.

Karyaniti now lets you type directly in Nepali from the search box.

Two ways to type

In English mode, enter Nepali words using Roman letters. Karyaniti keeps your English query in the field and shows a Nepali Unicode preview underneath. For example, typing samandha shows सम्बन्ध as the preview.

In Nepali mode, the same English keyboard types characters from the Romanized Nepali layout straight into the field. The text in the field is Devanagari, ready to search. No separate keyboard app or operating system setup is needed.

Type the character you mean

Nepali mode follows a key layout: each key produces its mapped Nepali character. For example, k types क, / types the halant ्, and z types ष. Typing k/z forms क्ष.

The cursor and selection keep working as usual, so you can edit a query in the middle or replace a selected word. Switch back to English mode any time to enter Latin text and see its Nepali preview.

Search and check the source

Choose the mode that fits how you type, enter a case name or legal phrase, and search. Karyaniti helps find relevant cases quickly; use the linked official NKP record to verify the original case.
